FAQ

  • How are you different from a “Puppy Mill”?

We NEVER put profit before health. Our dogs are live in our home, and are treated like family. Puppies from our dogs only go to homes we have personally corresponded with, NEVER to stores. If at ANY time during the life of one of our dogs the owner finds themselves unable to care for the dog, we will gladly take the dog back.

  • What is the difference between limited and unlimited registration?

Limited Registration means that the dog is AKC registered but is intended as a pet, NOT to be used for breeding.

Unlimited or Full registration means that litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration. Please note that we very rarely sell puppies on unlimited registration.

  • Do you offer a health guarantee?

In addition to the genetic testing we do with our dogs, we DO offer a health guarantee. Pup may be returned for a full refund if found to have serious health issues. This check is to be complete within 4 days of delivery, veterinary documentation is required.

  • Do you show your dogs?

Yes! We are currently showing Mollie in confirmation and plan to begin showing Callie in obedience soon.

  • Do Corgis require grooming?

Yes, while not as demanding as some of their larger fluffier cousins, corgis do require some grooming. They need to be brushed once a week and have nails trimmed once a month.

  • What do you recommend I purchase before I bring my puppy home?

The most important thing you can have for your dog is a crate. A crate is a dogs “den” it provides a sense of comfort and a safe place for them to go to relax. We also recommend you have a collar and leash ready at pickup. Never leave a collar on an unattended puppy.
